Veterans Day Freebies 2014

Veteran’s Day is this Tuesday, November 11 – and restaurants across the country are preparing to honor our military veterans, past and present with free meals – typically for the veteran and his/her spouse.  You’ll want to call your individual location to confirm that they’re participating, just to be certain.  I’ve compiled a list of places in or near the Atlanta area that are offering freebies and discounts for Veterans Day.  Unless otherwise noted, all deals are on Tuesday, November 11, 2014.

Helpful Tips:

  • Be sure to bring proof of military service, uniform photo or be in uniform. Proof of military service varies by company. Acceptable forms of ID include (but not limited to) DD214, Military ID, Retired Military ID, Drivers License with Veteran designation, American Legion/VFW/AMVET Membership Card.
  • Pay attention to the dates on the Veterans Day offer as some offers are for Sunday November 9th or extended over several days.
  • Many of the restaurants free meals are for dine in only.
  • Many of these promotions include small print that says participating locations only. Unfortunately individual franchisees may choose not to participate. Fortunately, some franchisee’s participate even if the corporate company does not. Please call the restaurant before you leave home to make sure they are taking part.
  • Most importantly, Thank you for your service!

<style=”text-align: center;”>Super special thanks to Short Cut Saver, Surviving the Stores, Military Wives Savings and Savvy Shopper Central for contributing to this list of freebies for our Veterans.
