School is winding down, and I am about to face a summer with a rising 2nd grader and a rising pre-K-er.  It feels like just yesterday we started kindergarten and then said goodbye to Kindergarten.

Last week, I said goodbye to another class of awesome two-year-olds.  They were a great bunch, and I’ll miss holding their tiny hands, seeing their gigantic grins, and getting super squishy hugs from them twice a week.  This particular class was an “older” group of 2s.  They all turned two before Christmas – three of them in the month of September.  So it was no surprise that all seven of them ended the year in disposable training pants, all showing great signs of getting ready for potty training.

To be blunt, I prefer Pampers brand training pants.  WHY?  Tabs.  They have easy open side tabs, y’all.  Have you ever tried tearing off disposable training pants from a wiggly standing toddler, all while wearing gloves?  Yeah, not fun.  And THEN if there’s no tabs, you have to strip from the waist down to put a new one on. Not fun when you’re also trying to keep your eye on your classroom.  Pampers Easy Ups make the job easy: just rip the training pants off from the side, have the child sit, and then with the easy-to-open velcro tabs, put the new training pants on.  Boom.

So to sum it up, if you like your child’s teachers, invest in good training pants.  😉

Which makes this Sunday’s paper super-awesome, and one you absolutely MUST have.  The P&G insert is scheduled to have high value coupons for both Pampers Diapers and for Pampers Training Pants: $3 off two bags or one box.  Also, there will be a coupon for $3 off two bags or 1 box of Pampers Easy-Ups Training Pants or UnderJams Absorbent Night Wear.Pampers-Coupons_1

What’s more, you can add these printable Pampers coupons to your coupon collection for more savings!  For deeper savings, make sure you’re signed up for Pampers Gifts to Grow rewards programs, as it’s just one of a gazillion great rewards programs to join!

Aside from my own personal preference for Pampers, they’ve been trusted by parents for over 50 years – there’s a reason for that, y’all!  Easy Ups work day and night, their diapers offer a wide selection for your baby’s comfort, and their UnderJams offer comfort, confidence, and peace of mind for a good night’s sleep!

Funny side note about Pampers Easy Ups: y’all may know my son has been a HUGE Thomas fan for a few years now, right?  He was fully potty trained, but saw a box of Pampers Easy Ups at Target about a year ago, and was BEGGING to get a box, because they have Thomas on them now.  I concluded after that particular shopping trip, he may make a fabulous lawyer one day, with all the reasons he came up with for why he NEEDED those Easy Ups.  Yep.  True story.

Keep on saving!  :o)
