With the sun finally warming up the Atlanta area (FINALLY!), perhaps now is the time to get on board with spring cleaning.  In doing so, you’ll likely find gently used books you could pass on.  Why not donate them to a fantastic cause?

LongHorn Steakhouse –
Give a Book, Get a FREE Steakhouse Kid’s Meal!

All you have to do is donate one children’s book (new or used) suitable for ages 5-12 at your local LongHorn restaurant on Tuesday, April 2.  As a special thanks for your donation, your family will receive one free kid’s meal from LongHorn’s kid’s menu with the purchase of one adult entrée.

All books will then be donated to local Boys and Girls Clubs of America to refresh Club libraries.  So why not clear a little clutter from your home, help out a fantastic cause, AND score a FREE meal, all at once?  Three birds with one stone — you can’t lose!

Wish to learn more about the Boys and Girls CLub of America?  For more than 100 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) has provided kids with a safe environment and engaging activities to help them reach their full potential as productive and responsible citizens. Through fun, educational, and innovative programs, BGCA helps kids and teens develop the creativity and confidence needed to succeed in life.

National Boys & Girls Club Week, April 7 – 13, marks the ideal time to learn about your neighborhood Club and how it supports local kids and the community. During this week, Boys & Girls Clubs across the nation are opening their doors and encouraging the community to take a tour and get involved with the organization.
