Readers: Where do you
take your kids around town?

I am always on the lookout for more great places to take my toddler (free, or almost free….but preferably for free).  We frequent the pool when it’s open, the local playgrounds (like Brooke Run), story times and  “Building Blocks” at the local libaries.  I’ve taken her to Discover Mills a few times as well; it seems to be fairly kid-friendly there, too.

Anyone been to the playground near PDK?  There seems to be a buzz about it!

What are some other places that are fun for kids?  We can only take so many leisurely trips to Target and the mall!

  1. The PDK playground is really nice. Just make sure to tell Carol that you aren’t waiting for a plane ride. My niece thought we were just playing until our plane got there. Ha! I told her I don’t know anyone with a private jet which ultimately created a meltdown.

  2. Ha ha ha! That’s hilarious! Thanks for the tip, Erin! :o)
