BOGO McDonalds Kids Meals

According to the AJC, McDonalds is trying to take a step in the right (healthier) direction, by automatically adding apple slices to its kids meals (both Happy Meals and Mighty Kids Meals).  Before, one could choose from apples or fries.  In addition, the fries portion has gotten smaller.  For those who opt out of fries, you may double-up your portion of apple slices.

To kick this off, from September 16 – 22, participating Atlanta area McDonalds are offering BOGO kids meals from 2 to 7 p.m.  (Thanks Atlanta on the Cheap for this information!)

Finally, if you live near the McDonalds at 3324 Northside Pkwy NW (off I-75 near West Paces Ferry), you can RSVP to attend a special kickoff party, sponsored by Atlanta Moms Like Me.  Click here for more details.
